Rise of the Moors Militia Leader Granted Bail Under Strict Conditions – Court Expects Another Payday

According to court records, Jamhal Talib Abdullah Bey, founder of the Rise of the Moors organization and alleged leader of the Moorish militia, was granted bail of $8,000 USD today under very strict conditions. Abdullah Bey, for whom standby counsel attorney Daniel Thompson was allowed to speak, was reportedly calm and compliant throughout the bail hearing in stark contrast to the special appearance of Jamil Rasul Bey back in May.

The conditions of release include:

  • A personal assurance / promise to judge Pierce that Abdullah Bey will comply with court summons orders without fail “each and every time” as it pertains to this case.
  • An agreement that Abdullah Bey will not possess any firearms, pistols or rifles for the duration of the trial until such times when he may lawfully do so.

Additional suggestions mentioned throughout the proceeding as a matter of circumstances, include:

  • Submission to the use of GPS tracking while under house arrest at his home in Pawtucket [Rhode Island], a building that’s reportedly shared with at least two other defendants in the case.

Judge Pierce reportedly emphasized the fact that the matter would still have to be decided by a jury. Court is scheduled to reconvene tomorrow.

According to attorney Graham Van Epps of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, other co-defendants were granted bail of “four to five thousand dollars, which a lot of them were released on and a number of them posted it.” Graham then went on to say that “Quinn Cumberlander had a similar bail and when he was extradited to Rhode Island, he posted an additional fifteen thousand.”

Recalling the absurdly high amount of ransom requests by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in 2019 regarding the Moors who were abducted along with sister Nora Bey of the Moorish American Consulate, an organization for which Abdullah Bey is a former official, this author finds it compelling to reiterate the following questions:

If we keep draining our economic vitality to pay the ransom they demand merely for reprieve, what motivation do they have to stop abducting our people? How does that strengthen us?

Hakeem Bey

As other Moorish organizations, some with the assistance of my services, continue to work toward statehood in an effort to resurrect the dormant Moroccan Empire, we are reminded to be vigilant in heeding the Prophet’s warnings. All the finances we have accumulated for reprieve over the years could have been better served uplifting the nation by funding a Moorish state government.
